Challenge
With SeeAround, you can track events around you, buy tickets, and chat with friends and even the event organizers. With so much to track in different places, there came some challenges.
- With SeeAround, the main goal was to let the user find out what is going on around them but also to be able to connect with others attending this event, including organizers.
- Have you ever thought about how many times you just missed an event around you, because you had no idea it was going on? With SeeAround, we needed to provide a way that the user will never miss an event again.
- We needed to provide the ability for a user to contact people attending the same event and also organizers of events to answer any questions.
- We needed not only to show the user who events and people but also provide the ability to notify the user of events for their favorite artists and track private events with family/friends.
Solutions
With SeeAround, there were many solutions to each feature, but we came up with the most simple and user friendly solutions to ensure the app was super user friendly but still got the job done.
- In order to track events, we use gps for event tracking just like a live map. With this option, they can open a real time map and track all events in their area.
- With the map tracking their events, they can also open each pinpoint on the map with one of their events and read information about people attending, the organizers, and costs as well as purchase tickets.
- With SeeAround, the user can create Events and invite people privately and then track who is attending, message them and keep them updated. No more wondering who is attending and no more text messages asking “Are you coming?"
- With push notifications, the user is notified when a new event for their favorite artist is scheduled, when someone in their group responds to a private events invitation, and even more.

Results
The final result was a light but extensive tracking app called SeeAround that provided the ability to track private events, Large events, artists and their events, and beyond. The final app included:
- The ability to schedule private events and invite friends/family members.
- The ability to keep a track of events you have attended, attending and invited.
- Easy push notifications signaling events in the area.
- An easy way to buy tickets with Paypal and check out on your mobile phones.
